WHAT IS BWPD ?
At BWPD, we address the lack of representation by leveraging knowledge and support within the product and design space in Richmond. We believe in creating a network of professionals from diverse stages of their careers, fostering a community where individuals can learn from each other and share valuable knowledge and resources.
We offer a range of benefits to our members, including engaging events and meet-ups. Join us for our Jam Sessions, where you can bring your ideas to life with a group of creatives and professionals. Participate in our Portfolio Reviews, where experienced designers and product managers provide feedback and insights on your work.
Take part in our Skill-Sharing events such as lunch and learns, workshops, and other skill-building activities. Additionally, we offer the opportunity to have an accountability partner, ensuring you stay on track with your online learning goals. We are committed to giving back to our communities and believe in making a positive impact. Our volunteers actively engage with local schools, educating and mentoring young girls about our industries. By exposing them to new career paths, we strive to bridge the education and wage gap.
